Qualification Requirements

To ensure safety and compliance with our insurance standards, all pilots must meet the following criteria:

• Certification: Private Pilot Certificate or higher with a current Instrument Rating.

• Experience: Minimum 300 hours total flight time and 30 hours in the Cirrus SR22.

• Currency: A successful Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) in an SR22 within the last 12 months.

• Training: Completion of the Cirrus Transition Training course.

• Checkout: Each renter must complete a checkout and evaluation with a Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP) or TCI.

Insurance Requirements
Renters are required to carry and provide proof of a Non-Owned Aircraft Liability policy (Renters Insurance) that includes:

• Liability Coverage: Minimum limits of $250,000 or higher.

• Physical Damage (Hull): Coverage for the owner's deductible. N458BB carries a $1,000 deductible for both "In Motion" and "Not In Motion" occurrences. 

• Loss of Use: Recommended coverage to protect against downtime during repairs.
